Cheryl Cole's dream Vogue shoot turns out to be a nightmare after clashing with stylist

When Cheryl Cole adult model was asked to model for coveted fashion magazine Vogue this year, it was a dream from true for the Girls Aloud star.

Appearing on the front cover of the style bible is a world away from her humble beginnings as a child model for Newcastle shopping malls and British Gas.

But the shoot didn't turn out quite as she had hoped.

Cheryl failed to see eye-to-eye with the stylist Bay Garnett and disagreed with her vision for the February Vogue cover.

A fashion insider tells the new issue of Heat magazine: 'It should have been a day to remember, but when it came to the day of the big shoot, things didn’t go as planned.

Cheryl arrived really excited about the whole thing, as anyone would be, but things soon turned a bit sour.'

The main problem on the shoot was Cheryl's chemistry with Bay nude model after the pair failed to click.

The insider adds: 'Bay is a super stylist, really well known in the fashion world, so it was a real coup that she was styling Cheryl.

'But she and Cheryl didn’t click. Bay had the baby daughter with her and spent a lot of time with her during the shoot, which meant that the assistants had to do most or the styling. Cheryl didn’t take too kindly to this and felt ignored.

'Cheryl had been looking forward to this day for a long time and it meant a lot to her.'

The insider claimed 'Bay’s assistants were doing a lot of work at the shoot, and Cheryl was getting more and more hacked off at the situation.

'They really clashed as people, and Cheryl felt like she was being dissed. Eventually, at around 3pm, she decided she’d had enough and left the shoot.

'The photographer had his shots by then, so it wasn’t like Cheryl was being unprofessional by leaving, but she wasn’t going to stay somewhere she felt uncomfortable.'

Cheryl's February cover features the pop star dressed in gold without her trademark smoky-eye make-up on.

After previously falling foul with fashion critics over the last few years, Cheryl has finally being making informed style choices in recent months, making her a good candidate for the fashion magazine.

The story appears in the new issue of Heat magazine, on sale today.
